Happy Anniversary

Yesterday was our 29th anniversary.  It has been a fabulous 29 years!  Nancy is amazing and just continues to get more and more amazing with each new day.  We had fun spending the day together.  We began the day by going to the temple.  It was neat to remember that 29 years previous we were in the Oakland temple getting married.  Just like 29 years ago, Nancy was the most beautiful girl in the room.

After the temple, we went to Idaho Falls for some fun shopping and lunch at the Olive Garden. We gave each other a large clock to hang at the top of the stairs.  It replaces the big clock that Haley made for us in Relief Society a few years ago.  It hasn't worked for about 6 months, but we couldn't bare to take it down (memories).  Anyway it has been replaced and it's nice to have a clock that actually tells the time.

On the way home from lunch, we stopped at a nursery and stocked up on plants for the back yard.  We planted them together and will be reminded of our anniversary every time we look at them.  Nancy has good taste in plants and the top of the yard looks really good.

It was a fun, relaxing day together.

Allison moved into her apartment on Friday.  We had fun helping her move.  I got side tracked and did some exercises with a couple of her roomates in her living room . . . I was exhausted after about 20 seconds.  Very depressing and fun all at the same time.

Courtney took us all out to dinner Friday night to celebrate Allison's birthday, Nancy's birthday, and our anniversary.  It was very fun.

My mom and dad came up last weekend to spend the Memorial Day Holiday with us.  We had a great time together.  It's always fun when  Grandma and Grandpa come!!  They came in time to go to Nancy's last day of Kindergarten  for the year.  She had an "author's tea" where all the kids got to read stories they had written.  It was fun  for Nancy to have mom and dad there.  We did lots of other things while they were here.  One thing was that we rented tandem bikes and went to Driggs to take a 7 mile ride on a bike path they have.  Then we had a little picnic in the park and walked over to the town  "Emporium" for ice cream.  It was a fun day.  Dad and I mowed the lawn when we got home and finished just in time for the rain.  Hooray for good timing!

Life is sooo good.  It's time to get the BBQ and dinner started.  God bless all of you, everyone!
